It is still PM, but the tobacco is different. I am sure they mfg. the cigs close to the point of farming the tobacco. When I was in Europe, I smoked Marlboro Reds, but had to switch to L&M's. They were closer to what I was used to.

YES! And FUNNY how he "disappears" when this tid bit is brought up.

We found this out last year that his wife MADE him quit smoking. He has turned into one of the ugliest reformed smokers on Free Republic. And his side kick: RedBloodedAmerican (?) is another one. LOOK OUT! hehe!

Then why do you feel the need to come in and bash and trash decent people who choose to smoke a legal commodity? Why should it even BOTHER you that others can still smoke and enjoy it?

You once again miss the point. The ability to smoke depends on the owner of that property. I conform to their wishes. Something you would prefer not to do, instead you would prefer to force that property owner to cater to your preferences! If someone doesn't like the smoking in a place that allows smoking, then they have the freedom to leave!

I have even had a gnatzie complain that I was smoking in my own home. I promptly put a metaphorical boot to their A$$ and sent them out the door. Gnatzies like you think your preferences trump the property owner's rights!

First, I am concerned that the route this issue is taking will negatively effect property rights for many other issues.

Second, I really am trying to communicate to you that the real issue driving this is not property rights or health. Its something you and other smokers cannot fathom because you don't know any better while you are smokers. If you had even half an inkling then you would be as considerate as smokers of other products and most of this attack would not be happening.

You certainly have shown that your concern is that anyone even owns private property and has the ability to decide who to invite onto their property.

Generally I am respectful of non smokers, but when a gnatzie starts buzzing around I have to swat it. The smokers have given and given and given and given and given, then when they start to fight back you call say they are rude and inconsiderate. I guess you expect them all to just roll over and get their bellies rubbed! (Kinda like you behave!)

Do you realize I do not hang out with anyone that doesn't want to be around a person who smokes? I have non-smoking friends who could care less about the smoke.

And it IS a private property rights issue. Tobacco has been legal for hundreds of years. Now, all of sudden, the nanny's do not want us around. But since they are raking in billions of dollars, they just try to ban and control us.

And why does any of this have anything to do with you? You quit smoking. You don't hang around people who choose to smoke. So what's the big issue with you? That your still hungering for a smoke? Well, that's not OUR problem, now, is it!
