Notice the headline. Momentum may be shifting against Davis

Ah, the ever so cautious leftist AP is beginning to get it. Now if only McClintock would get it.......

I can no longer say "I don't know anyone who has been polled!". Today I was called by the L.A. Times poll! I thought about lying through my teeth and screwing up the survey but, rather than add to the confusion so close to Oct. 7th, I answered truthfully throughout. It was eye-opening to say the least. The girl who did the questioning could barely read and mispronounced just about every word and name. Because we got cut off before the final few questions I was called back sometime later to finish the poll with another girl who talked extremely fast, all the while EATING HER DINNER! I didn't detect any effort to "push" my answers in a particular direction.

No one is quite sure when or how it happened, but there is a growing sense among analysts Monday that Gov. Gray Davis' drive to defeat the recall has lost momentum.

It must be a bleak day at AP. The "Rove the Leaker" story has come up a cropper, too.

I simply cannot believe any poll from CNN, even done with Gallop, would be heavily weighted by Republicans.

Registered voters - 55 per cent favor recall.

Probable voters - 63 per cent favor recall.

Actual voters - ???

One never knows for certain until all the ballots are counted. But it doesn't look good for Gov. Davis, does it? So FReepers, let's get out the vote October 7th and make a lil' history by helping West L.A. gain a new retiree, OK?

Martin's toilet handle is now engaged by the absentee and early touchscreen voters, and will be by the rest of the voters October 7th. Be sure to flush good!

Methinks the shift in big mo came after Clinton came to town last week and demogogued for Davis. . The demogogues for Davis don't see how they have lost credibility.
