Did anyone just watch Bill O'Reilly's interview with Richard Gephardt? (Vanity)

I was a Republican ('80) before I became a Christian ('83), and at no time would I ever vote for a Dem. I vote for unopposed Dems in elections here in Georgia, because someone told me that they will invalidate your ballot, but other than that, I vote straight tkt GOP. No knowledgeable Christian would ever vote for the Dems, or any other party for that matter. The Republican party is certainly no "Christian" party, but it is far more receptive to Christian ideals and goals, and it is electable.....

Gephart is insane. He just mouths pious (to Democrats) beliefs. For example, he says the solution is that we need to expand the pie, implying a growing economy, then turns around and advocates tax increases.

This is childish. You don't allow the economy to grow by raising taxes. Any idiot knows that, except Gephart and the Dim O'Crats. Insane.

Hmmm... I used to think that but I'm not sure anymore.

Vote for the most conservative person in your GOP primaries. Other than prayer, that is all you can do. A lot of people are lazy and do not vote in primaries. That is the place to stand on principle. I have never voted against any Republican candidate in the general election because he was not conservative enough, but I'm from a conservative state. If faced with a gay candidate or some other reason that I could not vote GOP, I probably wouldn't, but if it ever gets that bad, the country will be a basket case anyway. If there was a credible alternate to the GOP, I would vote that way, but there is not. Fringe parties don't get elected, or worse, have nutjobs running them, who are not ready for prime time. I am a political science major; believe me, there is no alternative for the Christian who wants the biggest impact with the tools at hand. If anyone is too intolerant or can't see the big picture, I can't help there; you either understand the equation or you don't.....

Of course they do not know the bill of rights.
They think it says separation of church and state.

They also overlook the phrase "shall make no law" in the First Amendment as it relates to religion. In the matter of the Ten Commandments display in Alabama, no law was made.
