Did anyone just watch Bill O'Reilly's interview with Richard Gephardt? (Vanity)

Well, it was just on the O'Reilly Factor, but I was surprised to watch as Gephardt really didn't directly answer any question except for the one on taking the 10 Commandments out of the Alabama courthouse.

Democrats are devoid of new ideas, aren't they? Must suck to belong to a political party that has no capability for original thought and innovation.

What did he say about the Ten Commandments? I had O'Reilly on mute.

O'Reilly cited a poll stating that 77% of Americans don't want the 10 Commandments removed, but Gephardt sputtered rhetoric to the effect of "I support diversity" and "not everyone is a Christian" and also repeating the Democrat/ACLU line on "separation of church and state".

Gephardt said the Ten Commandments should go. Does not support them in public. The usual stuff... Oh, and some blather about his kind of religion which apparently revolves around love your enemey as yourself.

I watched it up until he introduced a professor from UC Berkeley, then I mumbled something about his utter lack of credentials and changed the channel.

How about the senior center, where they stopped the
seniors from making field trips, saying grace or singing
songs.
There were about 100 seniors that go often to the center,
the people that was the cause of not allowing the seniors
their rights do not go very often.

I believe that O'Reilly introduced him as Speaker Gephardt.

He's starting to look like that government official that got sucked out of the mountain on Mars at the end of 'Total Recall'.

I saw that, too. I thought it was outrageous and spits in on the ink of the 1st Amendment (with excerpt here):

Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof

Wow. "His kind of religion". I know you paraphrased but if he did say that - it sounds indicative of a belief system more based on what he wants religion to be than in the revealed truth of Christ.

I noticed that too. I thought that was pretty interesting considering how much he attacks President George W Bush, his political opponent (aka to Dean as "enemy"). It makes me wonder if he goes home and looks in the mirror shouting til his face turns red.

As far as enemies like the Islamikazies, I want to bomb them, not love them.

Of course they do not know the bill of rights.
They think it says separation of church and state.

If memory serves, he said, "my religion is the one that says to love your enemy as you love yourself. And I" [try? to live by it everyday]. I can't quote verbatim the whole thing thus the bracket and ?. Just trying to clarify.

What a cop out answer, "I support diversity". They (dems) are scraping the bottom of the barrel for ideas. I don't watch O'Riley, usually.

Yeah I saw it and Gephardt didn't answer a darn thing. He dodged every question except to say "we need to do more of it." O'Reilly could have nailed him on the immigration issue because Gephardt has already pledged an amnesty for all illegals in this country. O'Reilly didn't call him on it. O'Reilly pressed him on using the military on the border and Gephardt said that the border patrol are part of the military. It was a very lame effort on Gephardt's part.

No need to watch O'Really to find out what little Dickie will say. Little Dickie is the Dimocrap playbook.

No need to watch O'Really..

Got that right. O'Reilly is just another outlet for interviewing liberals. We already know what liberals think and believe due to the other liberal media. If O'Reilly was a real conservative, he'd be an outlet for letting conservatives air their ideas and beliefs.
