Sean is a nice guy, but not deep intellectually. He shows that more on his TV show, where his arguments against liberals are a mile wide, and an inch deep. I find it increasingly hard to listen to him, because it is like amateur debate night. Laura Ingraham, Mark Levin, and Ann Coulter are what we need--their intellectual and debating level is far above affable Sean's abilities.

He just doesn't seem to have the depth on issues that many people here on FreeRepublic exhibit, and we are not professional pundits.

He is starstruck on Arnold. Arnold will win. But what will be won is having a RINO instead of a real Republican as governor in California. We had two RINOS for governors in NJ,Whitman, and DeFrancesco. Today, the NJ Republican Party is an extension of the Democratic Party. That's how we got McGreevey as governor and Lautenberg back as a Senator.

Arnold has not exhibited one Republican principle in this campaign, but he has star power. He has not even served so much as dogcatcher in his town, but hey, let him be the leader of the world's fifth largest economy--why not?

I just hope he supports George Bush next year.

Prediction: Arnie passes a bunch of liberal programs but neverless meets Bush in Sancremeto at a big rally and says everyone should go out and vote for him. Unfortunately Arnold can't come up with a single-issue they are united on. (see George Ryan, George Pataki, Christie Todd Whitman's Bush endorsements in 2000)

Whether or not Bush wins the general election, the RAT candidate EASILY carries California by about 12-14% Star-struck Arnie supporters are at a loss to explain why the state did not MAGICALLY go to Bush because Governor Arnie said so.
