(It's time for Arnold to stop splitting the Republican vote and step aside for the good of the party)
To: ElkGroveDan
None of us can speak for Lincoln. Somehow I doubt he would be proud of the closed-minded, judgmental, uncompromising approach some of you have. Left to you, the Republican Party would have about 20% of its current memembership, the rest designated as the national RINO party. That wouldn't give you much leverage in state and national elections, but what do you care. ALL your photos are offensive.

The polls indicating Arnold beating Busty with McClinton in the race are crafted to make certain McClinton stays in the race to siphon off votes from Arnold and give the election to Busty.

All of these conservative Republican lawmakers endorsing Arnold...I guess they didn't get the memo that Arnold "isn't a conservative." <<
Which puts them in the same camp of all the conservative politicians that endorsed Lyin' George Ryan for Gov. in 1998, including most GOP "leaders" like Denny Hastert. They were even better though, they managed to chase so many people out of race that socialist George's only "opposition" on the GOP side was a retired airline pilot.
Thank goodness the GOP establishment got their way over the "right-wing crazies" and elected George. Things are soooooo much better in Illinois now, right?

Now that I am back online the thing that worries me most is how so many FReepers are bashing the conservative candidates in favors of liberal Republicans 'who can win'.
They have such a passion in their attacks on conservatives that its scary.

I think you are absolutely right. That very thought occurred to me too. I have already seen people running around saying it's "safe" to vote for McClintock, because Arnold will win anyway, and maybe we can have "Arnold 1st and Tom 2nd". This whole strategy must have been crafted by James Carville himself and looks like some "conservatives" are falling for it.
Arnold still needs all the votes he can get and a vote for McClintock is still a vote for Bustamante. I hope people will think very carefully when casting their vote.

Actually, he made fairly strong points in favor of the recall. His pro-Arnold remarks were weak and without substance "Arnold is the best candidate" (Why?)..

Reagan would have rebuked Tom and the way he is behaving.

Oh yes, George Ryan... the scumbag who cut all of the death row prisoners loose...
His Rat opponent in 1998 (Poshard) was actually much more conservative than Ryan! The Rats abandoned him because he wasn't crooked enough.

See post 12.
Cox: "Now more than ever, California needs a true leader as Governor who will make tough decisions and restore our golden state to its historic glory. I am convinced that Arnold Schwarzenegger is that leader."

I wouldn't be too sure about that literally 1/2 the polls have showed Arnold in the lead with Mc in the race. Both Arnold and Mc got a bump from the debate.Which coincidentally was the most watched gubenatorial debate ever.I know it's not tactically smart but I would love to see another one.

I was surprised that Davis was re-elected in the LAST election. He was already unpopular then. Perhaps the Democrapic "cheat machine"? Of course now, with the State's financial crisis as bad as it is, there can be no more hiding for Davis. I find it as mind boggling that anyone could vote for Davis in the first place just as I find it mind boggling that anybody here could vote for Creepien!!

Thank you. I also find that photo very offensive. Ronald Reagan doesn't even recognize his own family, he's not out stumping for Mr 17%.
