No, as a matter of fact, I will do what I have done for forty years. It got rid of Lowell Weicker in Connecticut and saw Ronaldus Maximus elected president twice by landslides. I don't have to cry. Life is like that in the principled lane.

Crying is for the Kumbaya snugglebunnies who want to kiss the soccer moms' collective patoot, to wring their hands over the awful complexity of it all and imagine themselves first rate strategists when they are merely practitioners of surrender on the installment plan. No election is the final election until God says so.

If California's constitution had provided for a primary in this unique situation, we would not be having this discussion. It doesn't. We'll learn to live accordingly. Genuine policy partisans have long memories.

Meanwhile, if you elect Arnold, enjoy your resultant misery. I will certainly enjoy your resulting misery.

Your social surrender monkeyism, in the run of history, won't mean Diddle..... well, you know.

It seems that some of us have forgotten that the Republican party has been pro-business and pro-small government for most of its existence. That defined a Republican. Only recently has the social conservative migrated over to the Republican party and made it's issues part of the Republican platform.

Arnold joined the Republican party when its main goal was to encourage business growth and limit governmental growth, so I dare call him a true Republican.

We of the Christian right (myself included) have become Republicans but there are some of us who seem to not espouse the party's heritage.

Ya know what BE? I think that there is an upside to the CAGOP endorsing AS.

We already know that conservatives ain't climbing on the Leftward-HO! Wilson-Kennedy spawn's bandwagon.

And the Indes and Dems who don't trust the GOP, but who were thinking of voting for AS, are now gonna take a long hard look at that choice again. If they are fed-up enough, they won't drink the Arnold or Buste koolaid, and will considering voting for the only candidate in the race who could legitimately stem and would ernestly try to fix the Sacramento seated problem.

Yeah, I know the clever ones never want to admit their machinations could ever backfire -- but this one has a delicious God's-hand type flavor to it should it develop. The overpowerful tend to overplay their hands often enough. This could be one of those "DOH!" times. If so, how very delightful.

God Bless you and yours as is fitting.
