If you watch "On the Waterfront," Kazan's thought process on "naming names" is laid out pretty clearly. It's too late to "name names" in Hollyweird now. It's overrun with "progressives," "greens," and "useful idiots." The best we can do is not buy their products. I'm perfectly content to watch the one new Mel Gibson/Bruce Willis movie that comes out each year and shun everything else.

Hot is right! Great performances by Karl Malden and Eli Wallach.

Anyone who wants to know about Hollywood and communism please check out this book: Hollywood Party: How Communism Seduced the American Film Industry in the 1930s and 1940s by Kenneth Lloyd Billingsley.It's a great book.
