I believe McClintock is pro-life.

1. Schwarzenegger said no new taxes over his dead body.
2. Schwarzenegger is not a politico.
3. Schwarzenegger will reform workers comp and other buisness killing taxess and regulations.
4. Schwarzenegger is against the car tax.
5. Schwarzenegger is against the driver licenses for illegals.
5. Schwarzenegger is for parental Consent.
6. Schwarzenegger is against partial birth abortion.
7. Schwarzenegger projects a strong image as a leader. McClintock who although has nice ideas, makes Davis and Bustamante look charismatic.
8. Schwarzenegger is for local school control.
9. I believe Schwarzenegger has a better chance of effecting positive change and reform in California than McClintock or any of the other candidates.

Why would that piss off liberals?
You mean like the Kennedys?
To: Delphinium
Have I missed something? Well, you've certainly missed something from this thread. The word is PRINCIPLE.
A PRINCIPAL works for a school. Remember......he's a "prince of a pal?"

To: Delphinium
The principal that a sentence should not end with a preposition, particularly one used previously in the same sentence.

Just curious, for what principals are you voting for?Principal Seymour Skinner, of course!
To: Delphinium
I'm not voting, I left California over a decade ago.
But the principle I would vote for is leadership. The same quality I saw and still see in President Bush. In Ronald Reagan. It includes optimism, the ability to work with both sides, a vision.
Anyone can be a "policy wonk", list stats and information. And claim to stand by "principles", meantime using tactics that defy true ethical principles. Think of Al Gore.
Leadership is what California needs. Social issues are secondary for the sinking ship of the economy there. And true leadership is not easy to find, it is a true gift. Arnold has it, you can feel the power of his dreams and vision for California every time he talks. When McClintock talks he seems to alienate. That will accomplish nothing.
Of course you will put this down as too simplistic, as RINO, as a sell-out. That's fine. But you would settle for Bustamante to satisfy your principles. I see some real contradictions in that approach, and you should too.

No.
It's the same old question McClintock supporters presented to the Schwarzenegger supporters when he signed on, at whimsy, for the governorship: "Why are we supposed to vote for Arnold?"
We have one Freeper able to answer the question.
The answer suffers from conflicting responses and a lack of proponents within Schwarzenegger's team, but the fact remains, there's precious few who can give a good reason to vote for Arnold.

Freepers have posted, ad nauseum, why they are supporting Schwarzenegger for Governor. It is the McClintock supporters who refuse to 'listen', reason and accpt the continued explanations. This thread was begun ONLY to bash Schwarzenegger supporters. Period. Why waste energy explaining and re-explaining what has ALREADY been explained before. sheesh.
To: mrs tiggywinkle
accpt = accept
To: mrs tiggywinkle
Correct Mrs. Tiggywinkle. I've been on a few threads with the McClintock people here in the past and none of them will accept anything as a reason to support Arnold. That is why I have not responded to this obvious attempt to flame Arnold supporters. But since it's you...what the heck!
How are ya?????
