Former President Bill Clinton and Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton may have created a force behind Wesley Clark that they will not be able to stop, political advisers from both parties told The Washington Times.

"The Clark thing has already spun out of control," said Republican campaign consultant Bob Heckman.

This is such moronic crap. How embarrasing that a supposed independent news support assumes that Limbaughian nutball fantasies are fact.

Has anyone heard Clark yet this week? Does he still support the Iraq war, or does he still oppose it?

I doubt it. Clark, it has been indicated, was relieved of his command for less than honorable reasons. No doubt Clinton knows exactly what they were. And Clark knows it. If however he has forgetten this (unlikely) Hillary can see that it becomes public knowledge when the time comes to destroy him, and I don't care what laws/protocols exists that says the matter should be sealed. The Clintons have never believed laws were meant for them.

Hillary can shape her opinion and 180 in 10. Nobody questions that because they know she's a lying weasel who has been "made".

Hillary could announce that Elvis is alive and serving on the DNC steering committee and the masses will not deny her her truth.

Clarke could claim his shoe size is a nine and in twenty seconds the press would claim he wears a nine and a half, claiming he's uncertain of the facts.

This country is completely loose in the upper paddock.

As mentioned in another post, Friends of Bill (FOBs) don't last very long.

I'm sure that there is pool somewhere allowing you to pick the date when Clark will meet with an unfortunate accident. The likelyhood of something like this happening grows in direct proportion the growth of his chances of taking the nomination away from Hillary.

Just my $0.02.

Best Regards

I don't know why everyone is so down on Clark for changing his positions. You have to have a position before you can flip-flop. Take the Iraq war, for example. The General was clearly tentative when he announced his opposition to, support of, and opposition to the war.

She's better known nationally at this stage than her husband was when he ran against [the elder] Bush.

But that's her problem......

Horse hockey. The Toons have plenty on Ashley. They wouldn't have gotten him to run otherwise.

Rush said today that Hillary wants to run in 2008 against a Republican who is not an incumbent.

Rush also remarked about the problems people who oppose the Clintons have. He has suggested that some Clinton opposers are no longer living.

One frightening conclusion is that Hillary could run in 2004 if there is no incumbent Republican opposition.

The article says:"[I]n getting Clark to run, Bill Clinton could have had in mind creating an acceptable vice president to run with Hillary," said Mr. Donatelli. "Whether Clark will have that in mind is something else. ...."

I know the sinkmeister can't run for pres, but could he run as VP? I hadn't thought about it til I read the above....

The help grows uppity.

I guess this is your own take on the article? You're entitled to an opinion no matter how naive it is. I would focus on this statement.

"How long does Hillary have?" Mrs. Kaufman asked. "With her notoriety, name ID and political apparatus, I think she can wait till after Iowa."

Anyone who has followed HILLARY! since 2000 knows she has the money and personnel to attack when the time is right. Clark is a red herring... just chum to draw the sharks.
