Actually alot of your comments were lies and distortions, which was actually the funniest and most ironic thing about your post. As far as naked hatred goes, I'll let you take the cake with glaring hypocrisy obvious in your post.

"That is the point of swallowing Schwarzenegger's "take it or leave it" center-Left positions."Oh well as long as were going to blow things out of proportion.
Tom McClintock's archaic backwoods, banjo playing, redneck, brand of far-right unbending conservatism is going to keep women barefoot and pregnant and reestablish slavery. . .
Geeee. . . that was fun . . .

I figure it's similar to how some children react when they don't get their way.

What's out of proportion? Have you been reading the recall threads much? Noticed at all, that the resistance to Schwarzenegger's candidacy is focused on his positions to the Left? Whether or nor you're comfortable with his positions is not germane to the point I was making.... Many aren't. The absence in the recall of a primary and subsequent nomination at the state party convention has meant the absence of a process whereby where issues are discussed and massaged and compromised together into a platform that unifies, rather than divides the party. The Schwarzenegger campaign put out a laundry list of positions, avoided debates as much as possible while waving some polls in the air, and presumed no other choice but their version of unity. McClintock supporters have been told, effectively, to "shut up and vote." The message lacks appeal, from our perspective, and as the target audience, we'd know. So, McClintock remains locked in at about 15% to 18%, and Schwarzenegger supporters continue to rail at the intransigence of those of us who support Tom's candidacy, casting about for nefarious reasons why we're holding our course. Sometimes, y'all oughtta just listen. There are eight days until the election; does Arnold want or need our votes? If so, he needs a new approach.

Have you noticed how some of the moderate positions have been exaggerated to leftist positions? Such as gun control equating to the police barnstorming your house and shaking you down for you guns? Or such apathy towards gays the same apathy that McClintock takes in actual political practice is portrayed as if Arnold himself is ready to perform marriage ceremonies for gays?!
Yeah I've noticed and I've never been much for buying into propaganda. That's why I'm not a Democrat and that's why I'm so disappointed in so many here.
"McClintock supporters have been told, effectively, to "shut up and vote."
Sorry but this is simply not the case. The message has been fight the Democrats. And attempting to relagate Arnold as a Democrat is utter and complete crap. By many rights Arnold is more of a conservative now than Reagan was when he ran for governor. The myths of Reagan's conservative purity, and the exaggerations towards Arnold liberalism may garner some calls for people to shut up. But I don't think a claim of someone saying shut up and vote for who we tell you to can be made. I think both sides want Democrats out but one side is displaying obstinante character traits that has resulted in wild exaggerations to push an agenda and frankly I don't think most of us are going to buy into the soothsayers doomsday scenario.

I don't know if he needs them. But i'm sure that he would appreciate them and if the conservative base were to support him it we be all that much more of a reminder to him of which party he really needs to be beholden to.
I think it can go both ways actually. If Arnold gets in without the far-right conservative core due to the fact that he only needs a plurality to win this time he may either be inclined to abandon them and continue playing the moderate or he may try that much harder to secure their support for re-election.
I think though that it's in the far-rights best interest to not be to stubborn and to be willing to work with Arnold eventually. Lest they become regarded as irrelevant like France.
Which I don't think they are. But at this rate bridges are burning and both sides arguements may fall on deaf ears. If that's the csae Arnold Schwarzenneger may be the last Republican to hold a statewide office in California for many, many, years to come and that would be a shame.

Well..they're all RINOs! along with
George Bush
George Schults
Darrell Issa
Newt Gingrich

There's a whole lot of RINOs out there which is why Arnold will be the next goveror.

Are you still disrupting McClintock rallies? Who could stand the Bisquick baked goods, Tang refreshments and the double-wides hogging two chairs each?
To: nopardons
Wouldn't it be nice, if some here, would stop lying, falsifying poll results, and/or omitting the salient information, just to make their case ? Not to mention making continuous personal attacks and calling names.Couldn't agree more!

The cool thing is, Arnie gets sworn in the next morning at 9am and immediately begins work! Gray will literally be packing as the new administration gets up and running.

On any of these polls, it is impossible to predict turnout by party. This election won't be like past elections and the mix of voters will be surprising.
That said, Arnold may well need MClintock to stay to insure enough votes to get recall thru. Many McClintock voters are not going to vote for Arnold but they will offset rat votes against the recall.

Your #30 -- right on! Spoken from one of Arnold's many "RINO's" right here on FR. You have to admit we are in really good company with major CA Republican office holders in Congress, former Administration officials for Pres Reagan, many of the talk radio hosts across America, and a hot of others who have all endorsed Arnold.
The attacks on what Arnold has said and his ideas for CA on here have been less than truthful to be kind! Haven't seen so much spin about a candidate in a long time -- sounds almost Clintonesque to read some comments and vanities with outright lies in them trying to pass for truth!
The final straw was the spin about the Morengo Indian donations for ads for McC -- it is legal so it is okay. What happened to the "principled" conservative then?
Makes you wonder just what the agenda is on here!

Sorry but this is simply not the case. The message has been fight the Democrats. And attempting to relagate Arnold as a Democrat is utter and complete crap. By many rights Arnold is more of a conservative now than Reagan was when he ran for governor. Note, you didn't provide ONE fact. All your statements are qualitatively sujective, bald faced assertions. The moment McClintock supporters discuss facts of Arnold's policies, you people just respond with vitriol.
I don't know if he needs them. But i'm sure that he would appreciate them and if the conservative base were to support...
Bull. He's working with Pete Wilson, who screwed the conservative grass roots and nearly destroyed the Party in the process. Wilson is one reason why we've got the likes of Gerry Parsky, Duf Sundheim, and Brooks Firestone running things into the ground.
If Arnold gets in without the far-right conservative core due to the fact that he only needs a plurality to win this time he may either be inclined to abandon them and continue playing the moderate or he may try that much harder to secure their support for re-election.
"Far right" eh? That's EXACTLY the kind of marginalizing speech practiced by Democrats.
You are mischaracterizing the situation in the California Republican Party. There is no threat of abandonment. That happened nearly ten years ago. We have nothing to lose.
I think though that it's in the far-rights best interest to not be to stubborn and to be willing to work with Arnold eventually. Lest they become regarded as irrelevant like France.
And then you follow up with another veiled threat, as if you care what we think.
If that's the csae Arnold Schwarzenneger may be the last Republican to hold a statewide office in California for many, many, years to come and that would be a shame.
Ah, and there's the dirty secret. Nixon was followed by Carter. George Christopher was the last Republcian mayor of San Francisco. Wilson was followed by Davis. Republican "moderates" are the death of the GOP. Your only choice to save a Party that stands for anything more than, "We're not Democrats," is to vote for McClintock.

Politics is about comprimiseWhen we comprimise with the Dems, we get things such as CFR, "No Child Left Behind", and $15 billion in aid to Africa. When we don't comprimise with Dems, we win wars in 21 days. Think about it.

I want him to declare war... on murdering babies, and on allowing homosexuals adopting children. McClintock has been there 20+ years and hasn't started yet.
