And crossword puzzle editors everywhere go into mourning (seems to me Kazan's name was a clue in 80% of the ones I do).

Giving you the benefit of the doubt -- it IS shocking to learn that there are a few left in Hollyweird who aren't Anti-American, Anti-God, Anti-Morality, etc!! Kazan was a great director, who stood up to the commies and was rejected by most of Hollyweird. Save those dancing shoes for the Michael Moores!

One of the all-time greats, who also stood up against Communist sympathizers in Hollywood

Unfortunately the press coverage will tear into him for being brave.

The irony is that if he had stood up against Nazi sympathizers, the media would be lionizing him.

But because he questioned those who were infatuated with Red Fascism he's considered evil by the press.

Sickening.

Even back then, the evil-doers knew the weakness of the Hollywierd folks and how easy it was to infiltrate them. It isn't any different today with the likes of Sheen, Streisand, Penn, Lange, etc., providing aid and comfort to the enemy. Thank God for the likes of Mr. Kazan. He was a man among men.

Yes, I love it when people who haven't the foggiest notion of what they're talking about post and run.

Shame.

When I put out red bait and something bites, surprisingly enough, it usually is a red.

Thank you for confirming!
