First of all moron, if employers paid their waitstaff, the cost of your meal would simply increase by 15% - 20%. Secondly, "tipping is too french" shows your complete ignorance. Tipping in France is not the norm, other than giving the coins received after paying your bill.

The customer would still end up having to pay the extra for the server. To pay the server minimum wage or more, they would have to raise the price of the meals.
Wouldn't you prefer to show an opinion of how much the server is worth by paying for the value of the service? Good service-good tip. Bad service-no tip or give a few pennies.
