Pro-life, pro-family, conservative Republicans are becoming a rare commodity in the Valley these days. State Sen. Chuck Poochigian endorsed Mike Villines for Assembly District 29. Mr. Villines has pro-choice ex-governor (and campaign consultant to Arnold Schwarzenegger) Pete Wilson stumping and raising money for him. Meanwhile, Bill Jones and Mike Der Manouel Jr. are backing pro-choice Mr. Schwarzenegger for governor and telling pro-life Republican Tom McClintock to go jump in a lake.

Seems like a true blue conservative would support LESS government intervention. But I guess you'll get your wish - the Indian gaming industry is about to be destroyed and Native Americans are about to get screwed AGAIN. Oh, well, can't blame me; I voted for McClintock and I can sleep well at night because of it. By the way, that goes for abortion, too.
