Without Issa we would still be downloading petitions.
Although I will be voting for Schwarzenegger, I think Senator McClintock needs to stay in the race until a few days before the election to help deflect the last minute attack by Davis, the LA Times, and Drudge.
The day before the election, Senator McClintock should reluctantly support Schwarzenegger. Conservative voters are savvy enough to know that BustaMecha must be kept out of office at any cost.

With every day that passes, people are voting for McClintock with absentee ballots. If McClintock quits today, a large proportion of the @ 1 million absentee ballots already received, which may have gone to Arnold, will be nullified.
McClintock is already a spoiler, and has probably already cost the Republican vote total a couple of percentage points.

Maybe that's exactly what he plans to do and he's playing it up to the hilt to make the Demonrats think he's staying in and have the indians waste money on him. It probably is a good idea that he sticks around until the end just in case something crazy happens!
We can only hope this is STRATEGERY IN ACTION!!
