Remember when Jesse Jackson read the book on Saturday Night Live? It was a hoot! The only time I ever paid attention to him...

"Remember when Jesse Jackson read the book on Saturday Night Live? It was a hoot!"I remember that well. Must have been 12-15 years ago.
He read that straight-faced with perfect comedic timing and never cracked a smile or came out of character. It was brilliant.
I've always admired him for being able to laugh at himself like he did that night.
That was the same show where he "serenaded" Jean Kirkpatrick.
Sadly, Jesse ain't making anyone laugh anymore.

Remember when Jesse Jackson read the book on Saturday Night Live? It was a hoot! The only time I ever paid attention to him... Was that the same episode where Jesse kept going up to the control booth, and before he could get there they'd scramble to replace all the white people with black people?

I was just thinking that.
Someone should translate Jackson's "Stay Out the Bushes" speek into Latin so it might make sense. Or at least could be more easily ignored.

Jesse Jackson, dispicable as he is, reading 'Green Eggs and Ham' was one of the funniest things I ever remember on 'Saturday Night Live'!!!
