I'm a reporter working on the recall, and a source at Fox News Channel told me that Arnold will be on Hannity's radio show at the top of his first hour at 3 p.m. eastern.
Just a head's up to my fellow freepers

Anyway, I just heard his answers to Sean's questions on illegal immigration and, frankly, they stank. No deportations, they all get to stay, free public educations for them, free public services. Pathetic.

I wonder how Tom feels about the new "sacred" Indian lands bill that will extort money from developers who hope to build within 5 miles of sacred land that need not be disclosed in advance.
California American Indian Heritage Commission is the group that designates sacred sites and will have the power to decide on developments. The California tribes didn't want this law because it takes away their power to sue developers to stop development and puts it in the hands of a commission made up of mostly Deukmejian and Wilson appointees. You'll also notice that only two of the commissioners are members of California's gaming tribes. Look over these now eight most powerful people in the state. Wonder who Davis is going to make number nine?

Nothing about deportation and yet he says it isn't an amnesty. Amazing, huh?

He is constantly held up as a virtuous conservative, but when you really take a hard look at his audience, all you see is bubble headed soccer moms, following the guy.Exactly! I never really thought about it till you posted that, but his callers are mostly just vacuous domesticated yammering about whatever Talking Point he is beating directly into the ground.
The worst part is his soapbox about how this will affect Bush. Somebody needs to show this Know It All this map. I bet he would be surprised.

He completely mushed-mouthed through the illegal immigration segment. What I heard plainly was that he won't make an effort to resurrect Prop 187, "a federal judge settled that, and I would continue with that decision and move forward."
He then said he supported the McCain bill (I was not familiar with it) on the subject, and he lost me. Something about three different visas to be made available to illegals, consisting of:
1. A temporary work visa
2. To those here (illegally) before August 2003, a permanent work visa
3. This one became unintelligible. Something about "They have to earn their way in! They have to earn their way in!" ????
He stated to Sean that he didn't support amnesty, "it didn't work before." Unfortunately, his program (?) sounds just like amnesty, in practice if not in theory.
So, like I said earlier...P.U.

It is sickening that many so called conservatives have sold out just because we have a celebrity with an R by his name. If Arnold does get elected, there are going to be a lot of Arnold supporters very disappointed in another year. Sean looks like a person who has sold out to the Republican Party and the celebrity culture.
To: Wphile
"I'd probably have to hold my nose and vote for Arnold."Like I did for his campaign chairman, Pete Wilson, who proceeded to screw Counties with glee, annoint the GANG-GREEN activist and founder of the American Farmland Trust, Dougie Wheeler to Secretary of the CA Resources Agency, and clobber CA with it's biggest tax increase in it's history while calling Tom McClintock and other Assembly Republicans "Bleeping Irrelevant!"
The repercussions of that nose-holding vote required a severe "nose-holding" for YEARS!!!

HELLOOOOOO????? Did any Arnold supporters hear the segment on illegal immigration? Is this a live thread or did I misinterpret it?
Aren't there any COMMENTS on the subject of Arnold's response to Sean's questions on this matter?

Sure, it sucks and it faces the reality imposed upon us. Personally, I'd much prefer calling out the national guard and sealing the southern borders of the state. Ten minutes later, some court would find that California is interfearing in foreign policy. Deport them all, except it is the feds who can deport, not the state authorities.
Personally I hope that Arnold keeps his promise and nails the Feds with a huge suit. Maybe when the rest of the nation is faced with a sixteen billion a year bill they'll get off their collective rumps and force the feds to do their damn job.

Well, thanks for answering. I was hearing cricket sounds over here.

By the way, Arnold is doing a great job on the Hannity show. Actually, I think you, as a New York City Republican, and Hannity have alot in common and I thing you will absolutely enjoy the show entirely.OK, since you brought it up, yes, I absolutely enjoy his show. He's fantastic, and I can't understand why so many of you fellow FReepers criticize him the way you do. So, he doesn't agree with you 100% of the time, big deal.
Ask yourself, what major issue do you disagree with? Taxes? Pro-life? Family Values? His views parallel your boy McClintock's almost to a tee (I happen to have great admiration for McClintock as well, though I struggle with his staying in after the next round of polls, if in fact he's still trailing badly).
Do I listen to him for his intellectual insight? Nah, I have Rush on in the background for 3 hours before that. I also check out various web-sites including FR for my news and mental stimulation.
Am I more informed or smarter after listening to Sean? Not really, same answer as above.
Sean may be an intellectual light-weight, and that's fine. He's not going to change that- we already have the Coulters/Rushes/Hewitts for that. He does, however, serve a HUGE purpose.
What is it?
GET THE CONSERVATIVE MESSAGE OUT!
No one works harder or is more influential in this country, including Rush, than Sean is. I'm so glad he's on our side... I'd bet he's responsible for bringing more people to our side than any other media personality-period.
I keep him on in the background, and in the car when I'm fortunate enough to leave before 6. I LOVE the way he pounds libs and doesn't let them get away with their lies. I LOVE the way he gives them just enough rope to let them hang themselves in debates. True, he's often not the best debater and can be arrogant, but think about how much good he does. He sticks to the message and pounds away again and again, until any simpleton gets it and understand the ramifications involved when deciding on who to support. You and I are not necessarily always the target audience. If it's a soccer mom, or a small business owner, or a person who's been totally brainwashed by the liberal media- the more the message gets out, and the lies and hypocrisy are exposed, the better off we'll all be.
I'm glad he's on our side. Are you?

Nice commerical Mrs Hannity.
In all seriousness, stick with Rush.

Again, they both serve different purposes, and are both EXTREMELY valuable to the conservative cause. As much as I hate to give him any kind of endorsement after his meltdown an hour ago, I think you should listen to the intellectual debate that occurs on Medved's show ever day. Far better a purpose is filled for the cause there.

Medved melted down an hour ago? What happened?See 62, he thought he was being funny about attacking Arriana, but he cross over the line, running at full speed. I never heard him apologize either. Domestic violence is NOT funny.

I just read the post. I agree, not funny. Sean's losing it too. When you can't even be professional while conducting an interview, it's definitely time for a vacation.
