Thank you for the excellent explanation! I think I see various telltale signs of this or that, but it's hard to figure out exactly what to call his weirdness!

His continuing to contact Amber, after she made that very public first appearance with the police, is really over the top. I could see his maybe calling her once or twice after that, perhaps "just to show that they didn't rattle him", or "just to show that it's not the way they think it is", but he kept calling her a LOT!! And he seems to have been so deluded that he thought there was still a chance for him to just be with Amber, with all this having been put quickly behind him. Unbelievable!

Dev - I honestly think that SP's continually calling Amber was more of a controlling issue rather than a "love" issue. He KNEW that Amber KNEW a lot. He was attempting, in a very manipulative manner, to control WHAT she found out and when.!! I can't believe that Peterson EVER really loved ANY woman.
