Trust me, if Scott got guys to kidnap and/or kill his wife--and we know what happened to her, no way can he say something like "gee, I just wanted her kidnapped, not killed"--then Scott is DEFINITELY eligible for the death penalty under the law. Even if Scott never dirtied his hands physically doing any of the dirty work.
As another poster said earlier, the fact that these others were engaged by Scott (if that IS a fact) would IN NO WAY get Scott off the hook.

"So you think there might be some truth to this story?"I just don't know what to think for sure at this point but here is some of my thinking.
If Scott did pre-meditate killing Laci I think it is very likely he would have tried to or did hire someone to kill her as he would not want to get his hands dirty doing the actual killing.
On the other hand if Laci found out about Amber that night there could have been a big argument that led Scott to murdering her in a fit of rage.
