Freeper Interview Series: Chad Fairbanks
Patriot Paradox
Posted on 09/25/2003 5:02:51 AM PDT by sonsofliberty2000
The latest interview in the Freeper Interview Series is now online at Patriot Paradox. The interview is with Chad Fairbanks, and here are some highlights:
What are some memories you have of protests or other activist events?
Well, there are so many. In my early years I was always on the side that was cracking down on Left-wing protests. In the navy I had lots of encounters with Greenpeace and the Sea Shepherds, so I would say that was the most enjoyable bit of activism I was involved in - if 'activism' is defined as "Using a fire hose on dirty, smelly hippies".
Also, I have really enjoyed being a part of the Puget Sound chapter of Free Republic (Yo! A shout out to my Puget Sound Homies! Word!). I especially enjoyed the Hillary FReep we put together recently, as that also allowed me to get my children involved. They really had fun making signs.
Have any fears or phobias?
I'm afraid of birds. Oh wait, that's Cathryn. Never mind. I have an irrational fear of shoes.
How would you describe yourself?
6' 5", washboard stomach, rippling muscles, long windswept blonde hair, chiseled features, and piercing green eyes - but that would be really inaccurate.

Lucky guess.

Yeah.... lucky guess. It was a toss-up, and I had a 50-50 chance to get it right.
I almost said "A desk under some books"

The bridge of someone's nose when they are frowning, I would imagine.

Very good. That's two in a row. You still have not explained though, why you thought that "bump" was a nipple.
There is no nipple on earth that ugly. There just couldn't be.

I don't know. I'm just in a mood where everything looks like a nipple...

Nevermind, I'm still trying to figure out that pimple.
(And I would have guessed 'the bridge of the nose of someone frowning' on the second one if that pic hadn't been rotated sideways.)
To: LurkerNoMore!; Chad Fairbanks
I found it by Googling "bump". It's a bump. : ) (I thought it would make the Supreme Overlord of FreeRepublic laugh. I never imagined it would be so disturbing for him.)

If I saw a nipple that looked like that, I would be disturbed.
I've been disturbed by far less.
