The problem with the folks who fell hook, line and sinker for all these novelties is that, once they accepted them, they can't admit that they might have made a mistake.

Since these "novelties" (like permanent deacons, and the Anglican dispensation) were approved by two popes, am I correct in assuming that Pius XII (who also changed the liturgy) was the last "real" pope to you?

The Tridentine Mass should be widely available. I'm all for that.

But the Novus Ordo is the normative Mass, we permanent deacons continue to increase in number, and laymen will play an increasingly larger role in the Church.

No, these aren't matters of faith. But a Pope can make a prudential error. It has happened countless times in the past, and I have no doubt that a later Pope will correct most of the abuses(I'm not entirely convinced that the Anglican dispensation is a problem, but permanent deacons, communion in the hand, altar girls, eucharistic ministers, etc. surely are abuses that need to be curtailed and the god centeredness of the liturgy needs to be restored).

...for about 10 years or so. Then the crisis will be over and the Church will return to an authentic understanding of manhood, priesthood, and femininity.

But thanks for your invitation to leave and go to the Old Rite.

Very considerate of you. You don't like it when someone writes an article which accurately describes the underhanded and dishonest means by which certain changes have been effected, eh?
