My support begrudgingly is for Arnold now.

Tom is on the outside and will not win. I only hope that he will salvage enough support to run a successful campaign for the Senate.

Pete Wilson has made sure that Tom doesn't get any money and I will take Arnold over Cruz.

Will it be bad - yep. But at least we will have a 'progressive' Republican to point to. Arnold will prove what we all have been saying and in the long run it will be good for California and for the nation. Still - G_d help us if Cruz gets into office.

Oh, we sure will. When authentic fiscal conservatives run in liberal enclaves where the Demos have wrecked things, people will point to a "progressive" Republican and say, "See? A 'right-winger' can't win!"

I will disagree with you, but I will not flame you. You are keeping your perspective and not going off half-cocked, suggesting that Tom is trying to destroy the party or has been bought by the Indians.

if you've supported Tom with the pocketbook, no flames, just a request - keep the ballot in your hand or your mind open for the debate and the dirty Demo dump in the last week. It may sink Muscles and the Car Tax issue I think is Tom's real cross over strength... you may believe the last minute polls and decide against the best man/plan, but
having gotten this far, sit on the fence until at least the Sunday before! Lots of stuff still to come! The good news is the insiders aren't really in charge of the recall, and never wanted it in the first place...
