Ahh starting a club based on the color of your skin, even if you're white is stupid. She should start a europoean culture club. Skin Color is about the shallowest form of identity I can think of, which means liberals love it.

When making arguments such as this myself, there is always someone who says "Western culture, and history is based on the white male view of the world. That is why whites don't need a special day, or a special club." I cringe when I hear it, because I know there is no changing of their minds, the left has entrenched themselves too far in. You cannot logically reason with those people. When you do, you get shouted down, and get accused of all sorts of things. It is a sad state of affairs.

Have to disagree with you on this one. Although you may not have seen racist acts by whites, it doesn't mean it doesn't happen. Here's one example, which is completely true and factual.

My younger sister was working for a big medical group in San Francisco. Primarily all white workers. Although she is married to a Mexican-American, she continued to use her maiden name (Jewish but white enough). So they're trying to hire some new workers and my sister is helping to sort the incoming applications prior to setting up interview sessions. She notices the other workers periodically tossing applications in the trash can, and notices they all seem to bear non-white names (spanish or asian surnames). When she complained, the managers told her to get with the program, that "we" don't need "those" people here. She argued the point that they aren't even looking at qualifications, just the names. It wasn't long after this that my sister was so disgusted that she resigned.

Oh, by the way... a majority of the white staff was gay and arguing against discrimination against gays.
