Police: Man in Women's Underwear Hid Bomb

VAN BUREN, Ark. (AP) -- A man dressed in women's underwear, awakened as he slept in a vehicle at Lee Creek Reservoir, had a homemade bomb in the car, a Crawford County deputy says.

Earl Henry Woodruff, 40, of Van Buren, was arrested about 5 a.m. Monday after a deputy was sent to the reservoir in response to a call about a parked vehicle occupied by a man wearing women's underwear.

Sgt. Daymon Blount of the Crawford County sheriff's office said that, when he arrived at the site, he found a man sitting asleep at the wheel of a sport-utility vehicle. Blount said the man was wearing a bra and women's thong panties, but pulled up a pair of jeans shorts - which had been around his ankles - when he was awakened.

In a search of the vehicle, Blount said he found a large plastic bottle wrapped in duct and electrical tape inside the front-seat console. A fuse about 13 inches long extended from a hole that had been drilled through the lid.

Blount said he asked the man what the item was.

"That's just a thing filled with gunpowder," was the response, according to the deputy.

"He told me ... he made it to scare somebody," and never intended to use it, Blount said.

A state police bomb technician called to the scene confirmed that the device was a bomb, Blount said, and then disassembled it.

Woodruff was booked into the Crawford County Jail on suspicion of criminal possession of explosives, possession of drug paraphernalia and indecent exposure and was released on $10,000 bond.

We had a Turkish Angora cat with the same eye colors. It was a very good pet but it was deaf in one ear, common to the breed.

(Sung to the tune of "Walking in a Winter Wonderland")

Walkin' Round In Women's Underwear

Lacy things - the wife is missin',
Didn't ask - her permission,
I'm wearin' her clothes, Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' round in women's underwear.

In the store - there's a teddy,
Little straps - like spaghetti,
It holds me so tight, Like handcuffs at night,
Walkin' round in women's underwear.

In the office there's a guy named Melvin,
He pretends that I am Murphy Brown.
He'll say, "Are you ready?" We'll say,"Whoa, man!"
"Let's wait until our wives are out of town!"

Later on, if you wanna,
We can dress - like Madonna,
Put on some eyeshade, And join the parade,
Walkin' round in women's underwear!

Lacy things ... Missin', Didn't ask ... permission,
Wearin' her clothes, Her silk pantyhose,
Walkin' round in women's underwear,

Walkin' round in women's underwear,

Walkin' round in women's underwear!

I wait for that song every Christmas. Someone will always play it on the radio.

note: my enjoying the song has nothing to do with my current under-garments... really! it doesn't. really!

Just read the article, it speaks for itself.
No comment necessary.

But it does inspire odd rambling insane writ at the perps expense.

If the guy wanted to scare someone, all he had to do was play Sisqo's "Thong song", get out of his vehicle, and dance.
THAT definately would have frightened someone to death.
