"...missed by the press, Rosen writes: The Kennedy White House did not merely tolerate or encourage the murder of its ally, South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem, but organized and executed it." "Triangle" authors present compelling evidence that President Kennedy was killed Nov. 22, 1963, as the result of a massive conspiracy between the CIA-installed government of South Vietnam, the French global heroin syndicate and the New Orleans Mafia.

Interesting the things that come out years after such major events occur.

The truth is a force itself. It will surface but a lie needs to have fuel.

I had not realized there was even a question as to whether we killed Diem. I guess a debate could have existed as to whether we were passive or active. It is my understanding that it has been known for a while that Washington was waiting to hear word of Diem's demise. The famous picture of Diem and his brother in the back of the truck was the confirmation. Making the leap from allowing it to orchestrating it is that far and not really unexpected or surprising.

The assassination of South Vietnamese President Ngo Dinh Diem could only be layed directly at the feet of the Kennedy Administration. That the karmic circle came back so quickly to the US President himself, is a tale still untold. The absolute shroud of secrecy and mystery in which it was wrapped by the US Government only confirms certain lines of speculation. Of one thing we may be certain: the real story of JFK's assassination has still not been made public. Holy Christ, people, it has been FORTY YEARS! All the principal figures are either long deceased, or retired, or are very old people who have lived far beyond their time.

Was it a Mafia hit? If so, why the utter silence? Was it a very lucky snuff tactic by Castro? That would go far to explain the seemingly charmed existence of a Communist Cuba, not subject to any internal revolts years after most of the rest of the Iron Curtain fell. Was it a desperate attempt by agents within the Federal government itself, to cover up a serious miscalculation, and use JFK as a martyr, to give themselves some seeming plausibility? If so, was LBJ himself involved? Would that explain the sudden decision of LJB to quit the 1968 Presidential race? Apparently Nixon knew much more than he ever revealed, and probably that reluctance to speak out cost him the Presidency in 1974. Nixon could have traded that knowledge for immunity from impeachment, but he chose not to use that tactic.

What is honor, anyway?

Interesting as well that his surviving brother, as Archbishop Thuc, was one of the very, very few, along with Archbishop Lefebvre to balk at the modernization stemming from Vatican II.

He totally refused to accept the modernization and consecrated his own bishops to ensure the canonized Latin Mass inter alia continued. Abp. Lefebvre did so as well, but retained ties to the modern Vatican in the organization of the Society of Saint Pius X.

To this day, the name Ngo Dinh Thuc is disparaged in modern Catholic circles and many are quick to point to some possible mistakes in later times as evidence of mental disorder.

Note to drug warriors: The fact of heroin's illegality enables corruption of government, which isn't healthy for a Free Republic.

I've thought for years the Kennedy assasination and Ruby's hit on Oswald looked like a Mafia operation. But where's the connection between the Diem operation and the mob? A more likely motive is that Kennedy used his contacts with Giancanna (including his girlfriend) to get elected but then didn't deliver the payback, which was to take the Havana casinos back. Instead brother Bobby started prosecuting the mob. They don't like double crosses.

Having read the Donahue/Menniger book "Mortal Error" it's hard to put stock in any conspiracy theory.

We cannot agree upon who was the shooter (or shooters) and how many shots were fired, let alone motive.

My estimation of WND took a big hit with the posting of this infomericial.

I've heard this discussed, and summarily dismissed, as a conspiracy theory. Jackie's cousin, John Davis, wrote a book some time back detailing mob connections etc.

The main deal has always been to protect the legacy of Camelot. And it has succeeded for the most part because we have a willing and complicit press. We are spoon fed only what the press wants us to know. Democrat=Good, Republican=Bad. Same old, same old.
