Great article Nick.

I have often wondered which author was more correct about the future: George Orwell as in 1984 with is prediction of worldwide totalitarian regimes like Communism, or as Huxley wrote about in Brave New World. A world where pursuit of pleasure, meaninless, selfishness, and ultimately nothingness produced hollowed shells of humans beings, like crumbling insect skins dried out on on the tree branch.

I think it was Huxley.

I think it was Huxley.

If I weren't a Christian I'd think it was Anthony Burgess' novel Clockwork Orange. Even more depressing, if you think about it. Of course, for those Left Behind, the end will be a nightmare no matter what.
