Why thank you, doyenne of live threads. I just realized when looking at the list of nominees that I don't watch any of those shows! I don't get HBO or Showtime.
So I'll just watch what the weird wear and enjoy.

The Sopranos were not eligible last year, and it's been too long since their last season to really make an impact... but the Sopranos has been screwed out of Best Drama award since it began. IMHO, it is the best show on television.

I can't figure out whether this is an Onion spoof or maybe I've never watched any of these shows. |

Actually (and this is apropos of nothing), one of my all-time favortie movies is "7th Voyage of Sinbad", with Kerwin Matthews, Kathryn Grant, Torin Thatcher, and the baddest-ass cyclops ever... |
Emmys-schemmies. I'm gonna clip my toenails.

They're showing the red carpet on the West Coast now. Here's some banter we can all relate to:
(Joan to Courteney Thorne-Smith) Whose Jewelery are you wearing?
(CTS): Fred Leighton.
(JOAN): That looks familiar. I wore it to Buckingham Palace. Prince Charles liked it.
