Like you were ever on any football field, anywhere, ever. Watching from those stands can be mighty treacherous alright.

Least I had the guts, the body, and the ability to make it onto the field, friend. Still do, as a matter of fact.

And by the way, we Huskers give credit where credit is (and was) due. The Sooner teams of the mid-to-late 70's were the greatest wishbone teams of all time--backed by some of the finest defenders in the country. Beat me in Lincoln in 1976 on an incredible game-ending flea-flicker to Peacock, and then bitch-slapped us in 1977 in Norman.

No, pardner, I am proud as hell to have been on the field doing my best for the Huskers those 2 seasons--win or lose. My 6'-4", 232lbs wouldn't make it onto a field now, but in mid-70's, it was pretty good. And I played well enough to get drafted by the Steelers of 1978--didn't make it, but to play a while on the greatest team in NFL history, I can be proud of that too.

So don't think you know me at all.

Wolf Tickets is slang for bravado essentially....we all do it I guess...some more than others.

I talk about my wife on chick threads because I love and appreciate her as a wife and mom. The fact that she is still appealing to me after 6 years and 2 kids is simply graavy.

I'm glad to hear that Mark. I can verify who I am thru at least 1/2 dozen fellow FReepers. You have an issue with me beyond your fixation on my wife or other women from my life. I assume it's something on my homepage or maybe you are a social liberal (that would explain it). I don't have the advantage you do to hide and snipe at what I don't like. Were you not obsessed with the various things about me you have professed to dislike, I doubt I'd know you exist. But I do now.
