I know ....my wife is 5'2" and buxom but petite and delicately boned and weighs 102 after 2 children in 2 years and weighed about 95-98 before but now thinks she is FAT.....I like her with a bit more back.
Women are strange......didn't some other white guy (now dead) say that once?
I outweigh my wife by 110 lbs on a good day and 15 inches height-wise.

LOL! Don't try coming through Dothan on a Sunday evening during the summer. At least, not on 231 North. The cars from Georgia will overwhelm you.
My wife is from Daytona. We usually come back across I-10 to Marianna, then north to 231. One Sunday afternoon we hit it at just the wrong time. I thought we were in Atlanta at rush hour!
Folks from Birmingham take over Panama City some weeks in the summer, too. I make it a rule to stay off 231 entirely, except between Troy and where I live. It's two lane, but I miss a heap of traffic taking the Enterprise/Bonifay route to PCB.

Well you know women are the worst when coming to these beauty pageants. They make the worst comments, etc. I'll be the first to admit I make the same comments. We women look at those contestants and see all sorts of shortcomings. Even if a woman doesn't admit it, it is all about jealousy. I met a woman like your wife once. I hate those women, "oh I'm so faaaaat!"

LOL
I told my wife the other day that women dress up for men when looking for men but after they get one and settle down they dress up for the scrutiny of other women.
My wife is a maven of many areas...fashion being a big one...and you are right.
Overweight soccer moms shun her and it hurts her feelings. She gets on best with the middle aged gals in our neighborhood who are beyond all that now.

You almost got it right. Women always dress up for other women. (or against other women) We know we could be wearing sack cloths and the men wouldn't care as long as they can tell it's a female under there. (most of us know that anyway) And I've learned that if you have long hair, you get extra points.

When was the last time you ever saw Miss America? Once in the last twenty years, I have noticed a Miss America coming to a local K-Mart. They are on television once a year then disappear totally for a year as far as I can tell

You know wardaddy, you talk too much. Shut up for one second about your wife and how great that makes you! Every time you post, you have to bring her up. Some of us have beautiful sexy wives too, we just don't talk about them EVERY F**KING POST!!!!

"Which contestant would be the most politically correct this year?"
You said it all, and you said it well.

OK, I'm on the live thread the next day... :-) This will be fun to read in retrospect, though.
I thought it was hilarious when Miss America 2003 tried and tried and tried to get the crown attached to the nearly-apoplectic winner while she bobbed and weaved and screamed and hyperventilated.
Also kept thinking of Michael Caine in "Miss Congeniality": "The crown, BE the crown!"
I got all the quiz questions right - what Freeper wouldn't?!
And yes, I tuned in to see Clay Aiken sing. :-)

Hi WillowyDame!
I love these threads ... too bad I'm catching it the next day. I had to flip b/w Miss America and the Giants game last night (it was for the child! grin.)
Great homepage, and your pictures are beautiful. I was fortunate enough to (very briefly) meet Jesse Lee Peterson at the FR Count the Silverware Ball in D.C. the night of the President's 2001 Inauguration. He is a wonderful, wonderful human being.
(And yes, I kept thinking of Miss Congeniality during the competition ... BE the crown!)

ROFL - hey - is your CAPS LOCK KEY broken?
I'm getting better and better 419s these days. Have you ever seen this site?
http://www.scamorama.com It's a riot - warning: clear an hour or two to read, and bring Kleenex for the tears of helpless laughter!

HAHAHAHAHAHA
YEP!!!!!!!!!!! IT IS SOOOO FUNNY!!
one time i spent like 18 hrs straight reading the hysterically funny of 419 adventures!!!
i was crying like a baby with laughter..very unintentinally funny lines!
notice the nigerians are always religious and usually start their correspondence with something like.."glory be to god"
i blame the victims who agree to commit fraud with the fraudsters!!
who in their right mind will fall for it?? but they do.
ps/my caps lock key says HELLO and wants you to know that she is doing quite well, thank you very much!!
<<hair-flip!

sorry, halle is the queen of all phonies!
she is a heartless gnat who left a scene of accident and claimed that she was confused
vry very selfish woman!
ms halle harrington!! all about her!!
3 dollar bills have nothing on her; they cringe at her.
To: WillowyDame
Hey there, Yep, the first time I read Scamorama, I was *crying* with laughter, and my ribs hurt by the time I was done. I liked the one where the 419-er called his intended target "daddy." OMG ... well, you can't cheat an honest man.
The violence that befalls the greedy/ignorant victims needs to be stopped, so if they double-cross the scammers ... maybe that will discourage them.
But I have to say the creativity of the anti-scammers can be breathtaking! I also liked the one where they got $3 out of the scammer.
To your CAPS LOCK key - HEY THERE BACK. :-)

I loved meeting Jesse. Very quiet, very humble, very strong. He had a young man (16 or so?) helping him that night, just a sweetheart.
I'm still shaking my head that Miss FL made it REALLY hard for Miss America 03 to get that crown on her head. And MA03 was very gracious while trying to do it - didn't grimace or frown once. (Good manners or Botox?)

Speaking of Halle - and she is absolutely gorgeous - my heart sank for her mother during that Oscar acceptance speech. Halle went on and on and on about all the "African-American actresses" that went before her, but yet her white mother, who raised her, was sitting right there and her black father was long gone! How disrespectful to her mother, IMO. If you're going to reference your race (and I'm surprised that she felt she had to), it would have been much more respectful to reference BOTH of them.
It just seemed too much.
