One day a station on FM interviewed a cabbie from India. They asked the same questions and not only did he know all of them but was giving historical notes!

I want OKLAHOMA (and I'm from Texas!). Give us Oklahoma back...
These folks are pretty poor. Can you imagine how bad the state pageants must have been?

The was an episode of Monk this year, and he told this woman that she was going to be taking her citizenship test soon. She asked how he know that. He said he saw a study guide for the US consitution in her purse, and no ACTUAL citizen would be reading that. I had to laugh.

The two commentators picked MD to win. OK, so who here knew the answer to the last question?

Yes, yes I heard it and was so embarrassed for our own 'citizens' who vote and can't name the VP.

I was impressed all of them knew Hastert would become President after Cheney.

my husband is watching it and enjoying oogling the lovely ladies.
My ears however are hurting. But the broad on the cello and the black vocalist are off key. Hurts my ears. Doubt the judges noticed.
And the broad who is a doctor mourned about her father dying because he missed his chance for a kidney transplant because he was at one of her contests. Guess they never heard of cellphones. And guess they never heard of dialysis machines or family members donating organs. Again, I doubt the judges will notice this hole in her sobstory.

The title seemed familiar so I would have gone for that but I didn't know for sure.

I thought about that. Even if they didn't have a cell phone, why didn't they check the answering machine. hmmmm.
To: Tuxedo
me. Those were simple questions. But then, I have the Federalist Papers here on the nightstand beside me. And no, I'm not a lawyer.

A game show finish was all this show needed. The contestants are as empty-headed as they've always been. The scary part for me was hearing the degrees that they are well on the way to receiving. Heaven help us!
