There is another thread going titled "Club for Caucasians stirs up Oakley High School" about a High School in California.
It has this amazingly horrific paragraph.
DIDN'T FIT IN OTHER GROUPS Lisa, according to her mother, grew up embracing diversity, but she came home from the start of school upset that she didn't fit in the Black Student Union, Latinos Unidos or the ALOHA Club. There was the Power of Unity Club, an umbrella group that oversees all the school's cultural groups, but Lisa didn't want to join that, either. The only club Lisa signed up for, Neely said, was the Gay-Straight Alliance.
What's horrific is not that there is no "caucasian club". It is the clubs that exist and are presented as choices for 13 and 14 year old high school freshman to join.
Arnold Schwarzenegger is against vouchers.
Vouchers allow parents to send their children to schools that don't have these garbage clubs and agendas using their own money they have already paid the government to support such garbage at public schools.
What's not to understand?
It is taxpayers being able to use their own tax dollars in the way they see fit.
What's not to understand?
Governors can actually impact such issues as vouchers -- it is a realistic assessment of why to support a person for governor or not based upon what may actually happen to improve our own lives and society overall.
Schwarzenegger won't win even if McClintock drops out.
This is only but one reason.
You might be right. If the vote is delayed until March, can you imagine how many MORE illegals will be casting ballots?
My guess is this "review" by the entire Ninth Circuit is a smokescreen. They'll sit on it long enough to ensure the election is delayed until March, and preclude any intervention by SCOTUS.
Anyway the Supremes have proven their inherent liberalism with how quick they were to strike down the Texas sodomy laws and their complete refusal to even consider the Alabama Ten Commandments case. I guess that tells us where they are when it comes to ideology.
My guess is the Ninth Curcuit will sit on the delay decision for a while and come up with some obscure, convoluted level of reasoning (if you can call it that) to throw out the recall on an unconstitutional basis.
They've done it before. They'll do it again. Coup by court a fait acompli.
Do you think public high schools should offer clubs to 13 year olds such as "Gay-Straight Alliance"?
Two simple questions.
Now you.
