Arnold Schwarzenegger released the following statement today regarding the legislature and governors neglect of Californias Megans Law, which allows for public access to information about registered sex offenders in their community.
I am upset that the legislature would adjourn and leave Sacramento without renewing the publics right to have access to the Megans Law registry of sex offenders.
Megans Law has been a tremendous tool for parents to keep their children safe, secure and away from predators. I endorse Assembly Minority Leader Dave Coxs call that the governor immediately reconvene the legislature to extend Megans Law.
If Gray Davis and the legislative leadership fail to act upon Mr. Coxs request, then I assure all Californians that upon taking office, I will call the legislature back into session to reinstate the publics access to Megans Law. We should be moving forward in our commitment to keep children safe not retreating.

Hmmm, I guess this must be Bustamante, because everyone here knows Arnold isn't any better than Bustamante on any issues. They're clones...
On top of that Tom McClintock must be who we're reading about here.
These writers get so confused.

MMMmmmmm, yeah... Arnold is exactly the same as Cruz, I know, folks keep tellin me ;-)
I'd like to see where Cruz also supports the death penalty and the 3-strikes law?

What, Arnold is in support of the death penalty and three strike? Why that can't be. Bustamante isn't for the death penalty and three strickes. How could this be?

This post is especially dear to my heart because I spent years working on criminal justice issues relating to child predators on the Internet. I met many parents with beloved children that had been kidnapped and murdered by repeat offenders :-(

That is so funny Roscoe. LOL, you guy really go manic when Schwarzenegger does something good. Tell me, what would your tactic have been if you couldn't have found that?

I trust your post.

I may buy off on Davis and Megan, I'm not buying off on the death penalty. Sorry, that just doesn't compute.

The Cruz quote supporting the death penalty is pretty tepid, anyways.... and there is nothing there about him supporting the 3 strikes law, which Arnold adamantly does.
Q: Do you support the Three Strikes law?
Arnold: Yes, and I believe it should not be modified. It has proven to be an excellent deterrent to violent crime.

Arnold really is a "compassionate conservative".
He cares about the people.

Bustamante making appointments that would be supportive of tough crime laws That was a quick change of subject. Who does Arnold say he'll appoint?

Roscoe if you want to buy off on Bustamante making appointments that would be supportive of tough crime laws and the death penalty go ahead. I'm not buying it.
I do find it remarkable that your paralysis has recovered so quickly though, because you couldn't find any statements by Schwarzenegger saying he wouldn't raise taxes a short while ago, but within moments you had Davis and Bustamente quotes on the forum.
Some of us have been quite curious what your game was this election cycle. I must say you take the bait rather quickly.
What's up Roscoe? For weeks you've been playing stupid as a brick when it came to supportive comments about Scharzenegger. You couldn't think of one area where Schwarzenegger was better. What's up with that Roscoe?
Is it just that you have an inside with Davis and Bustamante, or are you more motivated to defend them? Why would you be?
