ERIE, Pa. -- An 11-year-old northwestern Pennsylvania boy was suspended after school officials said he brandished a fake grenade and threatened to blow up his school bus.
The boy, a sixth-grader at Lawrence Park Elementary School near Erie, showed the inactive grenade to classmates on his bus on Wednesday and said he would pull the pin and blow up the bus, said Charles Lewis, chief of the Lawrence Park police.

Dumb-ass schools and cowards for what is supposed to be adults over-reacting to NOTHING!
At the very most - a calm explanantion to the kid and confiscation of the FAKE grenade since it was inappropriate to being a TOY to school.

Hmmm...I have a dummy grenade at my house. I defy anyone to identify it as such if I'm holding it. Add to that the kid threatening to pull the pin and you've got something more to deal with than a kid with a toy, in my opinion. The kid knew it was a fake, but who else did? It's not really a funny story.

Dont be so cruel ... we dont know what sort of life this kid might live, perhaps everyday when he goes to school he is rediculed and made fun of by his peers...perhaps he is lonely because no one will dare to be his friend...doesnt mean he is a ´dumbass´´

What are you guys kidding? This was practice for what this little monster is hoping to do one day!
Didn't you read to the end? "The boy is taught in a classroom by himself because of problems at another school, his father said.
"He knew he had to go back to class all by himself with no other students," his father said. "He indicated he felt like a prisoner."
This kid is a hand grenade waiting to go off.

I can just imagine this kid's future epitaph...
