Today, whether the religiously motivated construe same-sex marriage as desirable or an abomination no longer has a bearing in the debate, since secularists fight tooth and nail to keep private beliefs from informing public policy, unless, of course, the matter is put to a national referendum.

Secularists are egregious hypocrites. THEIR personal beliefs (atheism, moral relativism) are supposed to be the law of the land, and the accepted background and foundation of society. If they really believed in "equality" and really thought every opinion or viewpoint was equivalent, they would tolerate world views other than or in opposition to theirs. They don't really want tolerance, diversity or inclusion. They are JBT and want to dominate, control, and silence all theists.

Watch out for cattle cars.
