Remember those repair crews in your prayers. They are leaving their families at home, not knowing when they will return. They work hard in dangerous conditions.

Yes, I will. I thought about them a lot today as I was sitting outside not getting anything done. I was thinking that I am glad I don't have their job. I can't imagine hanging out working on high voltage with wind, rain and trees falling everywhere. I love those people!!!

Glad you've got power at home now ..... :-)

We have a nephew who works for a power company in NC. He's in a desk job now but would rather be out climbing poles and stringing lines. He thrives on that sort of thing. Between the hurricanes, ice storms, and severe weather in NC and VA in the last few years, he's gotten in a LOT of overtime. The only downside for him is that he has to be away from his family at times of crisis.
