Long time lurker, but since I live 20 miles south of Downtown Baltimore, in beautiful Anne Arundel county. I thought I would reply. The storm has caused most of Maryland to loose power. My county is 90% dark, with a projection of weeks to fully recover. The winds were bad, and took out lots of trees. This took out power lines, damaged houses etc.
Right now the Inner harbor area of Baltimore city is flooded for blocks from the harbors edge, we are talking 3 blocks from normal waters edge, it is knee deep. With basements of the local office buildings flooding. Washington is hit harder with flooding.
Both cities have no public transportation systems functional. Only 2 traffic deaths to report so far, so God was with us. Property can be replaced, rebuilt, but not loved ones.
Hope this came out right, forgive the typos, been up all night checking my flooded basement

Good to meet you. I used to live in AA Co--in Arnold. When I went back several years ago, I could hardly find my old house because of the change in roads! Glad you got through the storm ok.

Both cities have no public transportation systems functional. Washington Metro now working. I took it in to downtown D.C. about an hour ago.
At home, in Montgomery Co., MD, we're out of power, and may be without it for days.

So are you near Rockville, MD?
Was wondering what storm damage there was there, know someone who is headed to Rockville for training on Monday.
