"Terri has been sentenced to die." per Attorney Anderson. Felos just more b.s.
Please catch the replay if you missed it.

Please ping the list, kimmie7. I'm sooo glad that Bill O' Reilly did Terri's story again and he was bugging Felos about why not give Terri a chance. Felos "it's not her wishes, etc."
Thanks guys, to everybody who contacted Bill O' Reilly on Terri's fight.

Check it out. Terri's fight is on Bill O' Reilly again. Her story was on about three weeks ago. Maybe somebody can watch the replay and post a picture of O' Reilly, Anderson and Felos from their tv.

Because I was busy setting up this thread, I really didn't get to type what was said by O' Reilly, Anderson and Felos.
If anyone wants to watch later and put here what happened on The Factor, feel free. I may call it a night early.
Maybe terrisfight.org will have a transcript of The Factor for 9-18-03 and we can copy it to this thread?

I watched it! I caught it just in time! I posted a summary to the other main Terri thread. I haven't figured out how to link that to this thread yet, so if someone else can do it or tell me how, I'll do it.

Ohio, I have similar skills to yours. Maybe after kimmie pings the major list, someone will come to your aid.
If there's a typed run-down, could you copy and paste it here for now?

#4686 on the monster thread. Good job, Ohioan.
Well, O'Reilly had on both Felos and Patricia Anderson. The pictures of Terri show someone who is obviously not in a coma, and not what people commonly think of as PVS. She looks like a disabled person. A living, breathing, yet impaired individual!
O'Reilly asked if it wouldn't be fair for the court to give Terri a year to see if the therapist could help her, and if not, then decide what to do about it then? Felos said that this case was not about euthanasia, it was about a person's right to control their body. Pat Anderson said this is nothing more than euthanasia. Why didn't Michael ever spend any of the money from Terri's award on her therapy? She said the money has never been spent on any therapy for Terri.
O'Reilly tried to tell Felos that we still don't have the right to commit suicide in this country, but Felos countered that we have the right to refuse medical procedures.
They showed a few pics of Michael and he is even more imposing than I thought! I hate this whole thing. It makes me sick to my stomach. Prayers for you, Terri, and your family and everyone else involved in your fight!
The good news is that Terri's fight will now be a national story, at least for a little bit. Thank God that O'Reilly finally listened to some of his e-mail, and let this air again.
Thank God is right! FV

Thanks for the ping. I hope Terri's pals can keep this on top of breaking news for awhile. Placement is everything.

Do you know reason for the the malpractice suite? I've had a little difficulty finding out how this whole thing started.

TB, you visit Terrisfight.org, maybe the malpractice matter is dealt with there.
To: floriduh voter
I caught the broadcast and was jazzed to see it covered. But just as was predicted here O'Reilly was too calm about the whole thing, and kept making it sound like a 'right-to-die' case. From what I've heard here Terri has never expressed an interest in being euthanized (only her trashy husband has wanted this).
By the way, if anyone DOESN'T get FOX NEWS and doesn't want to pay $500 per YEAR for cable or satellite just to get (Fox News combined with 99 channels of crap) you can do what I recently did...
- go to ebay and buy a used 6 or 7 foot dish for about $50,
- buy a used satellite receiver/decoder, another $50 or so,
- connect the two with about $25 of wire.
- pay an "a la carte" service provider like orbitsat.com $20 per YEAR (not per month), and
- ...voila! FOX NEWS on the cheap!!!
... - Over 5 years, Cable or DishNet would cost $2000-$3000.
- My setup should cost a total of about $250 / 5 years!
There are lots of companies that will sell satellite programming a-la-carte but the beauty of this provider and another (www.dishsupplies.com) is that you can pay for foxnews without also paying for scum-sucking CNN!!!
