The original part of this poem took me about twenty minutes.
The rest took me two weeks.
SOFT
Tell me, soft, of hopes and fears,
trust me with your dreams and tears.
Find me, soft, within your soul,
know that love will make you whole.
Come now, soft, into my arms,
shelter for your blushing charms.
Hold me, soft, the time is right,
share with me a perfect night.
Whisper, soft, through evening mist,
the ways of love you can't resist.
Guide me, soft, to worlds apart,
where loves abandon rules your heart.
Haunt me, soft, now steal a kiss,
My life should end in loves abyss,
Lie now, soft, sweet sleep is near,
side by side there is no fear.
Wake me, soft, the gentle way,
a pinch (and kiss) to start the day.
Forever, soft, treasure those things,
Love and truth and friendship brings.
It still needs some work.
