The Rev. Jesse Peterson, critic of so-called "black leaders" and author of the new book "Scam," has come out swinging against the black church that hosted former President Bill Clinton and California Gov. Gray Davis in Sunday services.
The pols spoke last weekend at the First African Methodist Episcopal Church in Los Angeles as part of their campaign to keep the embattled governor in office. The church is pastored by Dr. Cecil L. "Chip" Murray.
Peterson claims the event highlighted left-wing hypocrisy.

"Liberals are big on separation of church and state, so where's the outcry from the ACLU, the Rev. Barry Lynn (Americans United for Separation of Church and State) and others about this obvious violation? It appears the same rules don't apply to liberal black churches and Democratic Party officials. This is a blatant double standard, and the silence from the left is deafening," Rev. Peterson said in a statement released by his nonprofit organization, Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny or B.O.N.D.
The author also took aim at Murray for hosting the politicians:
"Cecil Murray is an example of what is wrong with the black church. Murray and his followers are celebrating evil. They embrace Clinton and Davis, both of whom are liars who should be rebuked."
During the service, Clinton told the congregation, "It's you that I'm worried about. I don't want you to be the laughing stock of the country."
Responded Peterson, "As a result of most blacks lacking moral character, and their blind allegiance to 'leaders' such as Clinton, Davis and the Congressional Black Caucus, they're already the laughing stock."
In Peterson's book, "Scam: How the Black Leadership Exploits Black America," which is available now exclusively through WND, he argues the civil-rights establishment has made a lucrative career out of keeping racial strife alive in America.
Peterson is scheduled to appear on Fox News Channel's "Hannity & Colmes" tonight at 9 p.m. Eastern to discuss the Clinton-Davis event.
Liberal "explanation": It's 'separation of church and state' for thee, but not for me.
501c3s can't tell people how to vote.
Hello! The vast majority of "Black people" apparently LOVE white folks like Bill and Hillary Clinton and wouldn't vote for a Republican - even a Black Republican - if their lives depended on it. That's a fact. Now, as far as you're concerned, if that's being a racist, then I'm guilty. If I were Black I'd be humiliated by the butt kissing and shoe shining that goes on in that community. Sheeeeeesh.
