AOL Time Warner will become simply Time Warner again, the Washington Post reported today, citing persons close to the company's board of directors. The board is expected to approve the name change at its meeting in New York on Thursday. The newspaper indicated that the change was being pushed by Chairman and CEO Richard Parsons, who had previously opposed it. The company also will revert to its former TWX stock-market symbol and return to its old logo, the Post said.

No. Who needs AOL when you have cable? Stupidest merger in the history of mergers.

This is part one, in an effort to stick some unlucky SOB with AOL, if they can find a buyer. Paging Warrwn Buffet, and George Soros. Time Warner has a hot deal for you. Best offer over $1.00 will be accepted.

Time to fool the Forest Gump investor's. It's good for a few bucks, considering there's plenty dopes throwing money into the market.
