Actual damage, as opposed to measured wind pressure, probably shows an even sharper upward curve as wind speeds increase. I wouldn't be surprised if damage in $$$ terms is 2x or 3x as high at 120 mph than at 100 mph.

Your welcome, it makes perfect sense if you think about it. We know that an object in motion's kenitic energy is expressed as 1/2mvsquared. Think of wind as a bunch of particles. If you double their speed you quadruple the kenitic energy in each particle, BUT you also double the amount of particles hitting an object in a given amount of time, hence cubing the overall energy delta.
