Prior to 1100 years ago, category five hurricanes were 4-5 times more prevelent. No-one knows why.

Very interesting (though I don't trust carbon dating for anything beyond about 1500 years).

One model suggests that global warming will increase hurricane frequency, while another foretells the exact opposite.

But this is defintely the same old yada yada.
