Power flickered on for a couple of seconds here, then died again... I can't believe anybody's out working on the lines, so maybe it was just a hiccup.

If it gets too nasty, get in a closet or bathroom in the center of the house on the bottom floor, away from outside walls and windows

Does the telephone cord reach in there?
