He's on the record with a liberal policy across the board. Dressing up liberal policies as not-so-bad-for-conservatives is a non-starter.

To pick out of your list as an example: anti-partial-birth abortion is not something that is unique to conservatives, since any feeling human being, if they know what it is, will be horrified by it. At the same time, killing the baby inside the womb and chopping it up there is okay with a lot of people, including Arnold - but not with conservatives. It's ridiculous on its face that you should suggest that being against a single gruesome procedure that this indicates any sign of conservatism in general. I know red-diaper babies who won't defend partial-birth; it doesn't make them conservatives.

This pattern of fake-out conservatism is clear across the board. Pro gay adoption, anti gay marriage. End result = loss for conservatives who want neither. How many perverts are going to be able to adopt children for their mental or physical pleasure, thanks to that? Can a person of conscience discount this factor?

And it goes on... the double-take on 2nd Amendment rights, refusal to specify any part of government that should be eliminated, the "I don't prefer taxes" while not ruling them out sleight of hand...

At some point you realize that he is only an actor playing a part, and that it doesn't need to make logical sense because the movie just needs to sell. At that point, the conservative realizes that Arnold is not one of us.

You stated that Arnold is exactly the same as Davis regarding raising taxes, gay adoption, "loves abortion", "likes illegals", "against Second Amendment rights"...

He is NOT... regardless of what your paranoid, slippery-slope mentality tells you about what electing a moderate can do to the country.

Your fears are quite valid to bring up and discuss.... LYING about Arnold's positions because it supports your fears is NOT valid. Or ethical.
