Yipes. I let one of the propaganda lines get by.
Between the code, the spelling, the accuracy, the corrections, the data, the organization, ....
Yes, they are terrorists. Thank you.
And thank all you FReepers who teach so much, each and every post.

I absolutely love these threads with photos of our military at work. They really are the best. I am honestly very grateful for their dedication to be the best and for their protection of this nation.

Thanks Diogenesis.

Radix, I believe the initial reports turned out to be false. Prisoners were fibbing to gain leniancy - or sympathy from the press, who, of course, turned it into a big (non)story.
OUR press missed a couple of good stories picked up by the 'local' papers today:

NOTEBOOKS FOR ALL U.S. Army Spc. Marisol Rincon, supply clerk for Headquarters and Headquarters Battery, 2nd Battalion, 44th Air Defense Artillery Regiment, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), hands out new notebooks to the students of the Badoosh school in Iraq, Sept. 17, 2003. The 101st paid for the school's repair and refurbishment. U.S. Army photo by Pfc. Joshua Hutcheson |
