OMAK, Wash. -- Okanogan County sheriff's deputies seeking a person on outstanding warrants broke down the door to the wrong home and then jolted a man with a Taser in front of his wife and child.
Sheriff Frank Rogers says the bottom line is officers messed up.
No one was seriously injured in the 4:50 a.m. Thursday incident.
Rogers says he delayed releasing information on the botched search until Monday so he could investigate the matter.
The heavily armed officers apparently burst into the wrong trailer at the Homestead Trailer Park in Omak.
The man they were seeking, 30-year-old Joseph M. Parisien, heard the ruckus and tried to escape from another trailer. He was arrested without incident Copyright 2003 by The Associated Press. All rights reserved. This material may not be published, broadcast, rewritten or

Guy should be grateful he's not dead. He should send the cops some donuts as a form of gratitude.

I don't understand how a warrant pickup becomes a no knock midnight raid for crying out loud. Pick him up when he goes to work or out for a six pack!

Another "No Knock" millionaire has just been created. (It's a bigger problem when it's your estate that gets the money.)

Guy should be grateful he's not dead. No kidding. I would be dead in a situation like that, because hearing the door crash open would impell me toward the nearest deadly weapon I could grab.
I hope that I could take at least one of them with me, 'cause nobody's gonna break down my door for free.

I don't understand how a warrant pickup becomes a no knock midnight raid for crying out loud. Pick him up when he goes to work or out for a six pack! That would make entirely too much sense. Maybe they just wanted to sport their new black, Ninja-style outfits and carry their cool SWAT weapons.

The citizen should be allowed to Taser the cop. Naaaa.... That would be assault. When a cop does it, it's just an honest mistake. Oops.

Another "No Knock" millionaire has just been created. What you bet every lawyer in the city has called him by now? They smell money like sharks smell blood in water.

I don't understand how a warrant pickup becomes a no knock midnight raid for crying out loud. Pick him up when he goes to work or out for a six pack! Well that's no fun, man. They don't get to dress up in their ninja outfits and play with automatic weapons!
These adrenaline junkies think that any warrant for any crime means that they got to go kick some dore down, RIGHT AWAY!! If you have a warrant for a violent criminal, who is a threat to the public, then by all means, go get him. This crap of sitting around waiting for a warrant in a drug, gun, prostitution case and immediately going to the suspects house is asinine.

Guy should be grateful he's not dead. He should send the cops some donuts as a form of gratitude. What was it, about two weeks ago that I guy gets tasered after having his car surrounded by several cops cars, with several officers shouting different things, and with the victim even sying they had the wrong guy - and now a guy gets it in his home.
Two lucky ones, I guess.
To: Skooz
Ridiculous and stupid police tactics. Pick up the perp when he goes out for groceries. No knock raids are nonsense unless the guy is holding hostages.
The donut squad probably wanted to try out their nifty new gear. Bah!

Sheriff Frank Rogers says the bottom line is officers messed up. By criticizing these officers and saying they 'messed up', it's obvious that the Sheriff is just another typical 'Cop Hater' like those commonly found on FR.
