I didn't vote for Carter shen he was first elected. god, I wanted to. He's a Southerner, I'm a Southerner. He was a Baptist, I'm a Baptist. But I don't trusst anybody that want tell you where they stand on certain issues. Remeber that, fellows when next you cast a ballot.

But it didn't matter, I knew where he stood, so I voted against him. Events proved me correct. But you know, despite his policies, I always though JC was personally one of the good guys. Active Christian, worked for the poor, not just taxed you for them, Etc., etc.

But the more I find out about him, and the more he opens his mouth and opines, the less I feel that way. Thank god, he was denied a second term, and the magnificent Ronald Reagan was elected.

Carter has ended his affiliation with the So.Baptist convention... being a liberal, it is to see why.

I used to like Carter too (he did call Clinton's last days "a disgrace") but he has done so many things to undermine the US, his country, that I feel free in calling his activities shockingly treasonous.
