I can't believe I'm about to offer a mild defense for Queen Jackson.

Tom, potatoes are often fried in grease made from animal fat.

(Now I have to pull a sheet over my head and lie still for several hours. I never want to be put in the position of defending this bimbo ever again.)

What makes them "French fries is the technique of cooking them; they are cooked twice, once at a low heat, removed and cooked at a much higher tempeture until crisp. The animal fat does not make them or not make them a French fry!
