Frightened by the aftermath of 9-11, Yoko Ono has repeated a famous performance piece she first did in 1964.
On the stage of a small theater Tuesday in Paris, she sat in a chair wearing a long black silk skirt with a matching long-sleeved top.
One by one, the 200 members of the audience filed onstage with scissors and snipped away pieces of clothing from Ono, the widow of late former Beatle John Lennon. Among them was their 27-year-old son, Sean Lennon.
Ono was left sitting in the aftermath of the performance in her black undergarments. She said that by allowing strangers to approach her with scissors, she hoped to show that this is "a time where we need to trust each other."
Spectators seemed to get the message. An 18-year-old American said, "Scissors usually have a violent connotation, but she turns it around to make it peaceful."

Perhaps to conform to tradition, pictures of other, less repulsing women should be posted. They could be instrumental in helping to purge the disturbing mental picture I have of Y.O. (although she's still better than ol' Crusty).

Yoko in the nude is an act of terrorism. She didn't look so hot 35 years ago either.

I would almost make a donation to the DNC if she would just keep them on.

In a related story, cities booking Yoko Ono's stage performance have reported hoarding of pointed sticks and opthalmic ointment.
