Indeed. But it's becoming evident that being a pedantic nitwit helps a lot.

Her maiden name was Clara Liszt, if that gives you a clue. She was an accomplished pianist, and married Robert Schumann, a well known composer who apparently heard the Lorelei.

Sorry, it was Clara Wieck. Franz Liszt was an admirer.

But we all know, there are NO competent women, right guys? Kill 'em all down to the last girl-child and make the world a better place. But we all know, there are NO women with chips on their shoulders, blindly lashing out at males, right ladies?

I take issue with the effort to bring up educated girls while ignoring boys in public education.Allow me to quote you, but to revise it to reflect my OWN thinking:
I take issue with the effort to bring up educated girls.

Women should be shot just to clean up things, right? Make the world perfect, and full of perfect beingsI disagree - women should be chained up, and used as breeding stock for the perpetuation of the species.
There. Feel vindicated now?

I, for one, coldn't agree with you more. Also, I found this line interesting:
"In the United Kingdom, the figures for 2001 show that 49% of women entered university, compared to 41% of men..."
Which, of course, leads to the unanswered questions: What % of women actually graduate compared to what % of men?
And of those who graduated what % each group graduated with "solid" degrees (engineering, computer science, physics, etc.) vs. those that received "soft" degrees (sociology, human relations, pre-law, history, etc.).

If men spent less time with sports, they might be able to accomplish what women accomplish. Just think if all the hours that men spend watching sports, talking about sports, thinking about sports, going to sports games, playing games, etc was instead spent productively on a profession or any certain cirriculum at school, they would do much better at school and at work.
